Are We Alone?

What is suspense? What elements of film create the feeling of suspense? With this assignment, I wanted to explore these questions. I decided to have limited sound, to capture the feeling of hardly anyone being in the building. I also focused on wider shots to continue the theme of no one being around. The duration of this film is two minutes and twenty-six seconds. I wanted the ending to be a question, not an answer. I did not resolve the story as another element to create suspense. Overall the video does do what I wanted it to. I created suspense through minimal sound, along with minimal action. I feel like I also created something eerily familiar to a lot of people who are in the AIMM building late at night.
